“Banou” which translates into A Lady or princess in Persian , is an attempt to redefine elegance and feminity which has always been the core aesthetic at The Silk Story.

More often than not it is but the woman that brings out the beauty of the six yards. The visual grandeur, the eternal grace and the glorious hues are all but misspent if not for the “BANOU” who adorns it.

This collection is an ode to all the women whose love for sarees has made Silk Story for what it is today and therefore it would be completely remiss of us to not use this opportunity to thank all of you. Also the three women who so graciously accepted to be photographed in this collection, will always be cherished. For you all are the real “BANOU”.
